Red Letter Jesus

Off-Broadway actor Brad Sherrill will present his new adaptation and live performance of Red Letter Jesus based on Jesus’ words spoken in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, at Roswell UMC. Sherrill is known to audiences world-wide for his presentation of The Gospel of John, which he has performed more than 600 times off-Broadway and in professional theaters and churches throughout the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Ireland. Sherrill has acted professionally in Atlanta since 1983. He was selected by Atlanta Magazine in 2000 as Atlanta’s Best Dramatic Actor and by Creative Loafing in 2001 as Atlanta’s Best Actor. He has performed in 15 productions at Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre and is an Artistic Associate for the Georgia Shakespeare Theatre where he has acted in more than 40 productions in 20 seasons. Sherrill began acting at the age of 11 at Chamblee First United Methodist Church where he is still a member.

The  95-minute performance begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Roswell UMC Chapel. Tickets are $10 in advance, and $15 at the door.
