Five Things To Know This Week

Here are a few local events and items to know the week of Jan. 16-22.

Post Offices are Closed Monday: All Atlanta-area Post Offices, including Roswell, will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16, in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. There will be no regular mail delivery; however, Express Mail Overnight Service will be delivered on Monday as usual. 

will re-open for business at their normal hours on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Roswell Restaurant Week: Many of the restaurants in Roswell's historic district are participating in the first ever Roswell Restaurant Week, which began on Saturday. The special event week will continue through Sunday, Jan. 22 and participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus at lunch ($15) and dinner ($25) to showcase culinary creativity and originality. .
