Frugal Family: Petting Zoo Roosts at Roswell Library Next Week

Don't be surprised if the Roswell Library looks more like a barnyard than a place where books are read when you drive by next Thursday. All kinds of animals from the Little Red Barn Mobile Petting Zoo will be strutting about the lawn.

Youngsters of any age will love meeting - and petting - animals from the Calhoun-based petting zoo. Sheep, rabbits, pigs and goats are just a few of the animals expected to visit Roswell during the free event. Hand sanitizer will be available, according to the petting zoo website.

Reservations are not required for the program, which takes place Thursday, June 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the .
