Get Out: 5 Things To Do This Weekend
Enjoy this spring weekend by running, cycling or enjoying a symphony.

Why: The garden club will be selling plants from their personal gardens. Plants available will include heirlooms, reseeding annuals, drought-tolerant perennials, ground covers, vines, seeds and rose bushes. All plants will be clearly marked with photos and/or planting instructions.

Why: The program features Brazilian piano virtuoso, Sergio Gallo, performing the popular Tschaikovsky Piano Concerto No.1, and local soprano and soloist with the Atlanta Opera, Maria McDaniel, who will interpret Rossini's astonishing "Cruda Sorte" from Italian in Algiers and arias of Mozart and Puccini. The program also includes the Orchestra's performance of Beethoven's Symphony No.5.

And don’t forget the children’s bicycle safety rodeo and kid’s races sponsored by the Roswell Kiwanis Club.

Why: Children of all ages are invited to the 12th Annual Touch-A-Truck which showcases all types of vehicles including fire engines, cars, trucks, heavy-duty construction equipment, military vehicles, motorcycles, emergency vehicles, buses and more.

Where/When: 10700 State Bridge Rd, Johns Creek, GA 30022 , Friday, April 29, 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Why: Preview 'Art in Bloom.' Come experience art and flowers in a fresh way when some of the Southeast's most talented floral designers interpret timeless art. Presented by the Johns Creek Arts Center. The Gala includes a book signing by legendary Vince Dooley as well as dinner and festivities.
Price: $75 per person; tables seat 8-10 people
