From Lynn McIntryre at the Chattahoochee Nature Center:
Harvest on the ’Hooch at Chattahoochee Nature Center returns Sunday, October 13th (3-6 p.m.) and tickets are on sale now.
Gather your friends to enjoy an autumn afternoon garden party where a bountiful garden provides the perfect backdrop. Tasty eats and treats and complimentary beverages, beer and wine provided courtesy of our presenting sponsor, Whole Foods Market.
The purpose? To share the benefits of the farm-to-table philosophy and showcase our Unity Garden, providing fresh veggies & fruits for the food pantry at North Fulton Community Charities.
Local chefs from the Mill Kitchen & Bar, SEED, Table & Main, Oak Street Café, Muss and Turner’s and Milton’s and caterers such as Talk of the Town, Parsleys and Block and Bottle converge to whip up delightful dishes in a quest to tickle your tastebuds.
Dress is 'garden chic.' An exciting silent auction and the opportunity to watch Chefs prepare food on site after you tour the bountiful Unity Garden complete this unique event focused on bringing attention to the farm to table movement. Hear live fiddle music from the Fulton County Ramblers strolling through the garden; pet adorable farm animals from alpacas to chickens or play garden games.
Seating is limited, so reserve your inclusive tickets now - $30 for adults; $15 ages 6-12; free ages 5 and younger.
