Have a Romantic Evening Over Fondue

Enjoy a date night at a local restaurant for a fun yet relaxing evening.

As parents, we often put ourselves behind the rest of the family. The kids, work, the house, and sadly, even the pets often come before us and our relationships. So for an affordable and utterly romantic date night, head on over to Mansell Road and go to

Whether it is your first time or you are a regular at the restaurant, you are in for a treat. The tables are set up so it feels like each one is in its own little cubby. Guests do not feel like they are dining with a large room full of people, it feels rather secluded. The lights are dimmed and the booths are comfortable. Whether you go as a couple with your spouse or grab some girlfriends, the atmosphere is perfect for a night out.

Servers come to the table and explain the process of having fondue for dinner. While sitting at a table, enjoying a good conversation and a drink, guests cook their own meat and vegetables or dip pre-made items in cheese or chocolate. There are choices for seafood lovers, meat lovers, and even vegetarians. The cheese before and the chocolate after dinner would make an excellent, light, yet rather unhealthy and delicious meal in itself. Everyone has fun while eating fondue.

If time, or money, is a concern for a date night, The Melting Pot is still a nice option. This is one of those places that couples can go to for just dessert and have a fabulous time. The small chocolate fondue is priced so dessert goers can leave at around $20 per couple.

Whatever you decide to do this week, be sure to take a Great Escape and recharge. You will be a better and happier parent for it.
