Keep a Library Book Forever

The Friends of the Roswell Library can help you avoid those pesky fines while keeping the books you can't live without.

If you've ever spent any time at a library you know there's one caveat: you have to give the books back - no matter how much you may not want to. Luckily, there's a great way to shop for used books and benefit the Roswell Library while keeping the books you love the most.

Next time you go to the , notice the books on rolling carts right outside the restrooms. Investigate further and you'll find they sit near an entire room stacked with books from floor to ceiling.

Welcome to the Friends of the Roswell Library Bookstore. Or as some like to call it: heaven.

The prices are so low you'll have to look twice. That's because the books are all donated and the manpower is all volunteer. Everything goes to support the Roswell Library. From paperback to hardcover and audiobooks to videos, you might be surprised at the quality of the selection. It's not entirely uncommon to find a 1st edition hardcover in perfect condition for around $2.

You can find more information on the Friends of the Roswell Library here. A big, end-of-summer book sale is planned for August 19 and 20.
