Letter Writing Garners Local Discount

My Clayground in Roswell is offering 10 percent off one item for each letter written to the troops as a way to assist in the Big Thank You Campaign by Q100.

Roswell's own at Sweet Apple Village is partnering with Q100's The Bert Show by asking locals to write letters to the U.S. troops as part of the Big Thank You Campaign.

The campaign looks to send over 400,000 handwritten letters to troops stationed on foreign soil - specifically during the holiday season. It's a way to acknowledge the sacrifice military men and women make each year when they spend the holidays away from family and friends.

The Bert Show - a popular Atlanta morning radio program - has headed the campaign for several years now. Metro area organizations, businesses and individuals have always jumped on-board to respond in a big way. The show asks that each letter be heartfelt, handwritten and "free of political statements." Check the show page for more information on how to write the thank you letter.
