Register Now to Run in CNC's 'Possum Trot'

The possum is running to benefit the Chattahoochee Nature Center! 

Enlist friends, family or co-workers and form a team to run this annual race, presented by the Big Peach Running Stores. The fun and flat race course makes for a fast and beautiful run along the scenic Chattahoochee River in Roswell. Organizers say the smooth and certified course allows runners to get in condition for the 2013 Peachtree Road Race, as well as qualify. 

Sponsors include the city of Roswell, the Whole Foods Market with healthy refreshments, as well as Aurora Cineplex providing brownies and pit stop.

Get into CNC after the race for free and enjoy post-race festivities and awards presentations in the Ben Brady Lakeside Pavilion. Overall and Masters Male and Female finishers in 13 age groups will receive awards at the ceremony.

There's a discounted rate of $28 if you register by 6 p.m. on May 30. Onsite registration is $35 for the 10K and $15 for the One Mile Fun Run. All participants receive a custom T-shirt featuring the adorable Possum with a great swag bag of goodies. 

Allow time to walk from St. Francis School parking lot on Willeo Road at Azalea Drive.

Register at online at Active.com or at Big Peach Running Company Stores. If you register at Big Peach you can pick up your race number when you register. Mail-in registrations to CNC: 9135 Willeo Road, Roswell, GA 30075. With mail-in registrations and online registrations, you can pick up numbers on race day only beginning at 6:30 a.m.
