Roswell Historical Society Takes Locals Back in Time

The organization will present a special storytelling program at the Roswell Presbyterian Cemetery on Atlanta Street, June 1.

The Roswell Historical Society is digging into the lives of former residents and bringing their stories to you - from the beyond the grave.

The "Beyond My Stone" storytelling program will take place on June 1 at the Roswell Presbyterian Cemetery on Atlanta Street. Characters for the performance will include Lizzie Smith, Dr. Turner Goldsmith Greer, Lucretia Hale Camp, Elizabeth Dunwody and Isaac Roberts. Each is to be played by a member of the Roswell Historical Society, who get into character to bring the individuals' stories to life while standing at their gravesite.

For the comfort and convenience of those attending, the society is asking guests to bring a flashlight. The program, which will end at dusk, is not suited for small children or those who cannot walk uneven ground or stand for long periods of time.
