Roswell Holds Women's Safety Course

The city will host a free women's safety course tomorrow, Thursday, April 28.

As a women, if you've ever been nervous about walking through a dark parking lot at night or going for a jog alone, a personal safety class might make you feel better - or at least, prepared.

Roswell's Police Department Crime Prevention Specialist, Lawanda Kornegay, will teach a women’s personal safety class tomorrow, Thursday, April 28.

The free class, which will last approximately 45 minutes, will cover the basics of personal safety and provide educational materials for participants to take home. At the conclusion will be a question/answer session.

The class takes place from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. at LA Fitness, 1475 Holcomb Bridge Road Suite 189. The course is free and open to the public. You do not have to be a member of LA Fitness to attend the class.
