Roswell NEXT Town Hall Takes a Look at City's Future

The town hall forum is Thursday, Feb. 28. Registration costs between $5-$15 per person.

The city's newest civic group, Roswell NEXT, will begin its series of Town Hall | Roswell meetings this Thursday with a look into the city's future.

Four speakers will discuss the elements of Roswell's potential development over the next five to 10 years, including:

  • Dave Schmit - Principal with Macauley + Schmit2011 Roswell Business Alliance Economic Development Award winner.
  • Steve Stroud - Executive director of the Roswell Business Alliance, owner of Stroud's Printing & Design and the Roswell Patch 2012 Roswell Person of the Year.
  • Steve Acenbrak - Director of Roswell Department of Transportation and leader in Bike Roswell!
  • Lew Oliver - Owner of Whole Town Solutions and two time Congress for the New Urbanism Charter Award winner.

The forum is the second of Roswell NEXT's monthly gatherings, which will alternate between two formats: Town Hall | Roswell - a roundtable discussion of ideas and issues impacting the city - and What’s NEXT - a more social networking event.

This month's Town Hall | Roswell will take place Thursday, Feb. 28 from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. at the Roswell Historic Cottage, 972 Alpharetta Street. The cost to get in is $5 for Roswell NEXT members and $15 for non-members. Click here to register online.
