Roswell's Matthew Sanna Nominated for LLS 'Man of the Year'
Sanna must raise the most money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society over the next 10 weeks.
Roswell resident Matthew Sanna was recently named as a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Man & Woman of the Year campaign.
Sanna, a financial center manager for Fifth Third Bank in Johns Creek, has joined other community leaders around the metro area to see who can raise the most money for LLS within a ten week time period, beginning March 28, according to a recent press release.
"I am excited to be part of such a worthwhile campaign. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a critical resource to thousands of blood cancer patients and I am thrilled to be a part of it. I look forward to my friends, family, company and community joining me in this fight," says Sanna, married to Kellie Sanna, is a graduate of Auburn University and enjoys guitar, golf and Auburn football.

Every dollar each candidate raises counts as one vote. The candidates with the most votes will be awarded the titles “2013 Man & Woman of the Year,” respectively. The event, in its fifth year in Georgia, hopes to raise $650,000. Money raised during the campaign will advance the LLS mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
"We are looking forward to another successful campaign and are thrilled that Matthew is part of it," says Tracy Manning, senior manager for the campaign. "We know that these candidates, like those before them, will give tirelessly of themselves to further our cause. We also look forward to welcoming the community to the exciting Grand Finale in June to see how their hard work pays off."

Over 500 people are expected to attend the Grand Finale Celebration at the Loews Atlanta Hotel on June 8. The night begins with a silent auction and reception, followed by the event program and dinner. The 2013 Man & Woman of the Year campaign is generously supported by Gold Sponsor Audi North Atlanta, Silver Sponsor BB&T and Media Sponsors Atlanta Business Chronicle and Atlanta Magazine. Spirits at the Grand Finale will be donated by Grey Goose Vodka.
