Roswell To Close Canton Street For Alive After 5

The street will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. between Magnolia and Norcross Streets.

The first Alive After 5 session for 2014 will start tonight, and the city of Roswell will close Canton Street to motorists to accommodate the festival. 

The street will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. between Magnolia and Norcross streets. 

Northbound traffic can detour past the intersection of Magnolia-Canton Street and turn left onto Norcross Street or Woodstock Street.

Traffic heading southbound on Canton Street traffic can also turn left onto Norcross Street to access Highway 9 or use Woodstock Street to avoid the congestion.

Abundant parking will be available for the festival at Roswell City Hall, which is at 38 Hill Street.

Trolley service will be available or pedestrians can use the walkway to Canton Street from city hall.
