Roswell to Collect Storm Debris on Saturday

The process of collecting all storm debris is expected to take several weeks.

The storm that moved through the Atlanta metro area last night resulted in downed trees, road closures and a significant amount of debris throughout Roswell.

To help expedite the clean up process, Roswell’s Public Works Department will collect yard debris resulting from the storm with special collection times. Regularly scheduled yard debris pick-ups will continue Monday through Friday for all residents. But, starting Saturday, June 15, crews will begin special Saturday collections for areas west of GA 400, which were among the hardest hit in the city.

The process of collecting all storm debris — through both the regular collections and the special Saturday collections — is expected to take several weeks. Residents are asked to be patient during the clean up process, since crews may need to make more than one trip to pick up the debris in certain neighborhoods.
