Roswell to Hold Tool Collection Drive

New and gently used tools can be dropped off through Saturday to benefit the Atlanta Community ToolBank.

From the City of Roswell:

The Roswell Recycling Center will host a tool collection drive this week through November 16 to benefit the Atlanta ToolBank at the Roswell Recycling Center, 11570 Maxwell Road, Alpharetta.

New and gently used tools will be accepted.

The immediate need is for the following: Rakes, shovels, pitchforks, folding pruning saws, hammers and screwdrivers, drills of all types, saws of all types, and power tools of all types. However, all tools will be accepted.

Founded in 1991, Atlanta Community ToolBank is the country's largest tool lending resource, focused on equipping local service groups with tools to work on a wide range of community improvement projects. With more than 160 different types of tools available year-round, the Atlanta Community ToolBank has equipped more than 400,000 volunteers to-date. 

The Atlanta Community Toolbank serves as the charter affiliate and model agency for ToolBank USA and the movement to replicate the ToolBank model nationwide.
