Several Roswell Streets Up For Hydrant Flushing

The operation ensures each fire hydrant in the city is working properly.

Several more streets in Roswell will experience fire hydrant flushing today.

The city posted on its Facebook page the list of streets the Roswell Fire Department will target today for the operation:

  • Bellflower Court
  • Branch Valley Way
  • Branchwind Close
  • Eves Circle
  • Fall Creek Trace
  • Green Elm Way
  • Meadowsweet Trace
  • Silver Pines Trail
  • Spindletree Trace
  • Windfaire Circle
  • Windfaire Place
The operation "not only ensures proper working condition of the hydrant, but it also removes sediment and debris, thereby providing you with cleaner water to use in your home or business," according to the city's statement on its website

The city warns residents they may experience some water discoloration, changes in water pressure or a temporary interruption in service if flushing occurs in their area.

"However, it will not affect the potability of the water, and the conditions will disappear in a short period of time," the city added.
