Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Supports North Fulton Community Charities

The National Association of Letter Carriers' food drive feeds North Fulton families.

You can count on North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC) to continue trying to "Stamp Out Hunger" locally, but they need your help.

The organization is asking local residents to help to feed their neighbors by supporting the 19th Annual "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive on Saturday, May 14. The drive, which is sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers, is the largest single-day food drive in the nation.

NFCC is just one of the many local food pantries that benefit from the food that is collected from the campaign. Last year, NFCC received 27.8 tons of food from five local area post offices.

How does it work?  Simply place a bag of groceries near your mailbox on Saturday, May 14, so your local Letter Carrier can pick it up when picking up the mail.

How can you help? Spread the word. Tell your family, friends and neighbors! Remind them that without the food that is collected many families in our community may go hungry.
