Steampunk Rolls into Roswell this Weekend

A Steampunk festival will take over the grounds at Barrington Hall on Saturday, April 28.

Imagine fanciful Victorian elements -- elaborate architecture and aesthetics, corsets, pocket watches, dressing gowns and other detailed visuals. Now, intersect those images with mad scientists, fantastical inventors and a Victorian's view of the future.

Welcome to Steampunk. It's Wild, Wild West and Lemony Snicket. Tim Burton and Jules Verne. Brass goggles and winged zeppelins.

The Steampunk fantasy world will come alive on the grounds of this weekend, Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. With one foot in the past and one in the future, experience the lush and highly imaginative world of Steampunk with multimedia exhibits, demonstrations, music, live theatre and intriguing visuals.
