Sweet Kora Looks for Somebody to Love

Kora is this week's Pet of the Week at the Atlanta Humane Society - Mansell Campus.

Kora is a beautiful Chinese Shar-Pei, Labrador Retriever mix currently residing at the Atlanta Humane Society’s Mansell campus.

Currently Kora is our most “senior” resident at ten and a half years old, but you would never know it by taking her out to play. She is loving and fun and enjoys running around and playing with the people who visit her. Kora wants nothing more than to move on from her shelter life to find her forever home.

Kora walks nicely on a leash and would make a great walking buddy. She loves people and other dogs but is not as fond of cats and would do best in a home with no small animals. She enjoys a good ear scratch and cuddling up to those she loves. Kora is also quite intelligent quickly learning basic commands including sit and “high five!”

Kora came to the Atlanta Humane Society heartworm positive but was treated and re-tested negative. She has also been vaccinated, dewormed, micro-chipped and spayed in preparation of going home with her new family. Throughout her heartworm treatments and time at the shelter, Kora has never lost her sweet demeanor and is always looking for someone to love.

Could that be you?
