Taste of Roswell Brings Perfect Weather, Great Food

Hundreds of people jammed the Roswell Town Square all Saturday afternoon while enjoying the delights of Taste of Roswell.

The couldn’t have ordered up better weather for the Taste of Roswell on Saturday afternoon.

With a light breeze, temperatures in the 70s and only a few puffy clouds in the sky, the foodie fans came out. Hundreds of people soaked up the sun, mingled and gobbling up samples of great food.

Roswell Town Square was loaded with people much of the afternoon.

“It’s a great reason to get the children out of the house, said Karina, who brought her 3-year-old grandson Roman from Smyrna to try out the food.

Indeed, the food faithful ranged from babies in arms and strollers to elderly citizens. Most had smiles on their faces as they tasted everything from ice cream to barbecue.

Restaurants represented ranged from Douceur de France to , from to . Twenty-five restaurants dispensed food from their booths on the square.

Other businesses represented ran the gamut from Charter Communications to Modern Landscape Concept.

Even friendships were strengthened.

“I live down the street,” said Fatima. She brought her friend Yelena, who lives in Atlanta.

“She’s my best friend,” said Yelena. “We have the same interests. We love Taste of Roswell.”
