Viewfinder: Farmhouse Hosts Special Showcase

Farmhouse in the City welcomed several local businesses from throughout the area to show off their products and entertain attendees during a kid-centric event last week.

Farmhouse in the City owner, Robin Donovan, and Kristin Sheehan of Kristin Leigh Photography joined forces to host a special vendor showcase at the Farmhouse on Green Street last week.

"Robin and I met as we began our companies a couple years ago," said Sheehan. We "totally hit it off."

In addition to Donovan's and Sheehan's businesses, the following vendors were also represented during the event: Stella & Dot, Thirty-One, Decadent Designs (Roswell), Chic Home Baby, Matilda Jane, Odom Designs, PopEms Cake Pops, Bubbies Blankies, Mary Pratt - Pink Chair Studio, Jennifer Smith Galleries and Pura Vida Candles.

The specially selected businesses were "people I have met and networked with along the way," said Sheehan, who grew up in the Roswell area and now resides near the square.

Customers had the opportunity to walk through the showcase, pick out items to purchase, snack on wine and cheese, as well as register for dozens of giveaways. The event was deemed a success, and Sheehan said she and Donovan will team up to host the showcase again soon.

More immediately, the two will partner to provide customers with special Easter portraits this Friday, April 1 at Farmhouse in the City. Photos of children with baby chicks and bunnies were an obvious draw because the schedule was quickly filled.
