Choose Your Favorite Bicycle Art Pieces

The Roswell Cultural Arts Board wants to know your favorite "Moving Parts of the Arts" pieces. Each piece is also available for purchase.

If you're in love with a particular piece of bicycle art currently placed around historic Roswell, now's your chance to say so. The Roswell Cultural Arts Board wants residents and visitors to cast their vote for their favorite “Moving Parts of the Arts” bicycle art.

Recently, ten dynamic artists were allowed to follow their muse and create unique art pieces comprised of donated bicycles and bicycle parts from Roswell Bicycles in correlation with the Roswell Cycling Festival. The result was abstract, ironic and elegant pieces that have been on display throughout April.

Now that the festival has begun, the arts board is inviting the public to bid on many of the pieces via the City of Roswell’s Historic & Cultural Affairs Facebook page.

“This is a fun way to add a truly unique piece of art to your individual collections while supporting these talented local Roswell artists,” says Sharon Moskowitz, presenting chair of the Roswell Cultural Arts Board.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the individual artist with the remaining amount to benefit Roswell’s local arts advocacy organization, ROAR, which helps support future community art programs.
