Atlanta Balalaika Society presents a Gala 30th Anniversary Concert

The Atlanta Balalaika Society will present a Gala 30th Anniversary Concert of Russian folk music, song and dance. The concert will feature the internationally acclaimed Russian ensemble, Barynya, performing dazzling dance sets and songs of Russia and Eastern Europe, with performances by balalaika virtuoso Elina Karokhina and Gypsy singer Sasha Menshikov. The Atlanta Balalaika Society Orchestra will perform with domra virtuoso Angelina Galashenkova-Reed and bayan soloist Alla Melnik. Ukrainian soprano Irina Petryk and the Children’s Russian Folk Chorus will also perform. The evening’s concert will be conducted by David C. Cooper.
