Featuring finalists from the 2012 College Scholarship Challenge

Roswell, GA, March 2 through March 15, 2012. 

Ann Jackson Gallery presents a Dr. Seuss art exhibition featuring new works from the collection along with original artworks from local and regional finalists in Dr. Seuss’s Oh, the Places You’ll Go! College Scholarship Challenge, co-sponsored by Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Random House Children’s Books and Chase Art Companies, This year marks the 3rd annual scholarship challenge with this being the first year that finalists’ artworks will be exhibited in fine art galleries. The works of 139 finalists were selected from hundreds of entries with Ann Jackson Gallery being one of only 15 galleries chosen, throughout North America, to showcase a number of these artworks. The public is invited to visit the gallery to view the collection and vote for personal favorites. Entry is free.

The Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Scholarship will award one 2012 graduating high school senior $10,000 toward post-secondary education.  The first and second runners-up will receive limited edition artworks from The Art of Dr. Seuss collection, now on exhibit at the gallery. Winners will be announced on April 24, 2012. 

Applicants were asked to create an original inspirational artwork based on the message of Dr. Seuss’s perennial best-selling book Oh, the Places You’ll Go!
