Family Fun At The Museum

Climb aboard the Roswell Recreation & Parks Department bus and join us as we travel to The Southern Museum in Kennesaw. The Southern Museum. The Southern Museum, in association with the Smithsonian Institution, is a premier museum featuring exhibits on Civil War and locomotive history. Exhibits include the General locomotive, an impressive Civil War collection of artifacts, the Glover Machine Works and much more. The tour also includes numerous hands-on and interactive exhibits that are fun for the entire family.

You must provide your own lunch and drink for a picnic on the lawn following the tour. All ages, children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

The bus will leave the Bill Johnson Community Activity Building at 9 a.m. with an expected return time of 2 p.m.
