Kanayo Ede

We are proud to present new work from gallery artist Kanayo Ede. 
Growing up in southeastern Nigeria, Kanayo keenly observed the colors and designs on the Dutch-wax fabrics his father, a textile dealer, imported from Holland and this Kanayo says was his introduction to the magic of colors. Today, this prolific artist says that he is inspired by all the colors and shapes he sees in nature. "This is why I love painting scenery.... I can move trees,clouds,houses and other elements around and they never complain."

Friday, July 22, 2011 - opening reception from 6 to 9pm.
The artist will be in attendance.
Hors d'oeuvres and lively libations will be served. 
Along with the multitude of new paintings by Kanayo, we will also be unveiling a special Historic Roswell inspired piece by the artist.
