North Fulton Master Gardeners Garden Faire 2012

Botanical bargains and unique, hard-to-find plants, perennials, gardening accessories, delicious food and much more will be featured at the North Fulton Master Gardeners 9th Annual Garden Faire held on the grounds of historic Bulloch Hall in Roswell, GA. This year’s theme -- “Scarecrows in the Garden” – will showcase five unique scarecrows (including the legendary British garden designer, Gertrude Jekyll!) that will be available for sale.

For anyone who likes to “collect” plants, our annual Garden Faire is a wonderful place to find some of the more unusual plants to spotlight in your garden. This year’s Specialty Plants section will feature a great selection of more than 20 varieties of herbs, native azaleas, along with hard-to-find spring ephemerals including Jack in the Pulpit, Virginia Blue Bells, Indian pinks, bloodroot, Solomon Seal, Lily of the Valley, Ipheion, several different trilliums, celadon poppy, and May apple.

Admission is free and proceeds from Garden Faire will benefit the six community project gardens supported by the North Fulton Master Gardeners volunteer organization. Master Gardeners will be on hand to help shoppers choose the plants that best meet their needs and answer gardening questions. For more information visit http://www.nfmg.net/
