Spring Works in Clay Show and Sale

This year Roswell’s Art Center West adds a new twist to its annual Spring Works in Clay Show and Sale held from May 19 to May 22 in their studio gallery at 1355 Woodstock Road, just west of the Target shopping center on 92, in Roswell. In celebration and appreciation of their loyal attendees, on Saturday, May 21, the center is offering not only free ice cream to all who attend the show, but also a chance to discover the joy of sitting at a potter’s wheel and making a vase or bowl. During this time, there will be ongoing free demos and instruction for all who care to explore this art medium.

The show and sale continues for the next three days: Friday, May 20, from 10 AM to 8 PM; Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM, with ice cream and wheel demos from 1 to 4 PM; and Sunday from Noon to 5 PM. The center guarantees an amazing variety of ceramic art, from functional wheel-thrown items to handbuilt, figurative sculptures, from highly sophisticated work created by renowned artists to very affordable, singular pieces made by students. All work is unique and handmade.
