Norcross Day at 'The Nutcracker' Is Dec. 15

Mark your calendars for an afternoon of the Christmas classic performed by the Gwinnett Ballet.

Update, 8:55 a.m.

"The Nutcracker" is back at the Gwinnett Ballet, and Norcross is having its own day at the theatre Saturday, Dec. 15.

The ballet is offering a discount of up to $8 for residents and city employees to the 2:30 p.m. matinee showing, so join your neighbors at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center in Duluth.

Norcross residents Mary Grace Manton and Emma Duke will take the stage with dozens of other ballerinas in this year's production. There's also another Norcross surprise in store, but you'll just have to go to find out more.

If you're interested in going to the Norcross show of "The Nutcracker," enter the promo code "NORCROSS" when buying tickets online.

Can you tell us how much tickets are with the discount? The Ballet's box office doesn't seem to have an online component, directing people to Ticketmaster, which is so complicated. ANyone know what the discount price is?

For some reason the code isn't valid yet on Ticketmaster. Aplacetoimagine.com says the discount is up to $8 per ticket, but I've contacted someone in the city to confirm it.
