Riverside Sounds Return to Roswell

The annual concert series on the Chattahoochee River will start on May 3.

Roswell's long-running concert series on the Chattahoochee River will soon return.

The city has announced the line up for the 2014 season of the Roswell Riverside Sounds. The concerts will be held at Riverside Park, 575 Riverside Road in Roswell on the first Saturday of the month between May and October. 

Each concert will start at 7 p.m.

“We are very excited about this year’s line-up of artists,” said Morgan Timmis, historic and cultural affairs manager for the city of Roswell. “We have a great mix of local artists and touring bands including Grammy winners, artists to watch, and more.” 

A free shuttle bus will be available to take concert goers from Azalea Park and Don White Memorial Park to Riverside Park between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. the night of the concerts . There also will be at least two food trucks on location for each concert from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The following are the featured artists for each month: 

  • May 3 – Chris Thomas King
  • June 7 – Kristin Diable & The City 
  • July 5 – BIG Something Band
  • August 2 – Sonia Leigh
  • September 6 – Rosco Bandana 
  • October 4 – Nathan Ware
