Tickets for all shows are available at www.roswellcac.com. Each event runs approximately 90 minutes and will have a full cash bar in the lobby one hour prior to show time. Theatre doors for each event open 30 minutes prior to curtain.
This year’s line-up includes:
Sunday, August 24, 2014: 7 p.m. – An Evening with Holly Williams
Hailing from one of the most famous lineages in American music, this granddaughter of Hank Williams, Sr., and daughter of Hank Williams, Jr., makes her own identity evident on her third studio album, The Highway—released on her own imprint, Georgiana Records, earlier this year. There are limited VIP tickets that include a pre-show meet and greet with the artist.
Saturday, October 11, 2014: 8 p.m. – The Hunts
The Hunts are an indie-folk-bluegrass band driven by a passion for creating compelling music. These seven brothers and sisters bring to the stage an amazing chemistry and powerful presence, meticulously propelled by violin, acoustic and electric guitar, banjo, mandolin, accordion, ukulele and piano, and rounded out with crisp harmonies.
Saturday, December 20, 2014: 8 p.m. – Irish Christmas in America
In celebration of the holiday season, this hugely popular show, now in its 10th season, features top Irish music, song, and dance in an engaging performance rich in history, humor, and boundless energy. This family-friendly event features Irish ballads, lively instrumental tunes, and thrilling Irish dancing.
Saturday, February 7, 2015: 8 p.m. – Ruthie Foster
Two-time Grammy nominee Ruthie Foster brings her blend of soul, blues, rock, folk, and gospel to Roswell. With a strong, clear and impossibly soulful voice, Foster excels at richly textured music painted in blues and has been compared to Bonnie Raitt and Aretha Franklin. She’s received five trophies from the Blues Music Awards, including the coveted Koko Taylor Award for Female Artist of the Year (twice), and was nominated for a Grammy most recently in 2013 for her album Let It Burn.
Saturday, May 9, 2015: 8 p.m. – Dirty Bourbon River Show
Since forming in early 2009, the Dirty Bourbon River Show has brought their blend of “New Orleans Gypsy Brass Circus Rock” all over the United States. Dirty Bourbon River Show pushes the boundaries of modern-day music, with its quintet of highly versed multi-instrumentalists utilizing piano, guitar, accordion, trumpet, sousaphone, flute, bass, wind toys, saxophone, and clarinet, to name a few!
Saturday, June 13, 2015: 8 p.m. – An Evening with Shawn Mullins
Grammy nominated Atlanta-based singer-songwriter Shawn Mullins has undergone a series of transformative experiences leading to this captivating new song cycle. He recently found himself atop of the country charts as co-writer of Zac Brown Band’s “Toes,” making it his third #1 single, following 1999’s “Lullaby” and the 2006 Triple A/Americana chart-topper “Beautiful Wreck.” Evidence of Mullins’ newfound level of musical and lyrical ambition comes through with his new album Light You Up, which will likely be viewed as a flat-out revelation even by Mullins’ most fervent fans.
