Roswell Library Hosts Class on Auditioning

Teens learn how to audition for Shakespearean plays.

Everyone knows that a part in a Shakespeare play is the ultimate in performing; though not everyone manages to pull off the great playwright's famous roles. But what if you could learn?

The "Be Not Too Tame: How to Give a Great Audition" class at the this evening is your teen's chance "to be or not to be" great under those hot stage lights, spouting Shakespeare's best loved lines.

The class introduces teens to the process of auditioning for a Shakespearean production. Participants learn how to work with cold readings from a script, take direction and how to put their best foot forward with great self-presentation.
