Bistro VG to Host Hamptons-Style White Party

The local version of the famed summer-ending party costs $35 at the door.

You don't need a celebrity invite to enjoy one of the world's most famous parties - is hosting its very own Hamptons-style "white party."

In an effort to show guests the best end-of-summer party they've been to locally, bistro VG is promising "fresh shellfish and rockin' cocktails." For $35 guests will find an array of small plates like roasted oysters, clams, Bouillabaisse, steamer pots and lobster rolls. And of course, there will be plenty of champagne, sangria, as well as other fun cocktails.

The white party has been a summer staple in New York's Long Island Hamptons for years, made famous most recently by mogul Sean Combs. White parties are traditionally known for two things - party-goers dressed in all white and their opulence.

The party will be held Wednesday Aug. 22 from 7 p.m. until whenever it dies down.
