Business Tuneup Workshop Offered in Roswell Saturday

The workshop teaches small business owners how to turbo-charge their marketing results.

Faster than a speeding modem connection, more powerful than a motivational seminar, able to leap over competition in a single afternoon, the Business Tuneup Workshop pledges to turn regular business owners into super heroes who dominate internet marketing strategies and enhance their businesses.

Recognizing the frustration shared by many of their small business colleagues, Lorrie Todd and Todd Wilson - whose weekly business luncheons have been offering a wealth of information to attendees since October 2010 - began the Business Tuneup Workshop to provide skills that business owners with tools to improve marketing results.

The time is ripe for small business owners to succeed if they are familiar with the tools used in this economy. But knowledge acquired during seminars often gets lost after the seminar is over and the reality of running the business overshadows the opportunity to implement new methods. Questions get lost in the shuffle, techniques are forgotten and the skills they paid top dollar to obtain are often wasted or under-utilized.

Hands-on skills training helps guide business owners in utilizing social media programming, niche strategizing and learning the keywords needed to market businesses in increasingly competitive online markets.

"They are able to see first-hand how powerful these methods are, and how easy they are to incorporate into their marketing plans," Todd said.

Because the workshop uses examples of businesses owned by workshop attendees who are actually in the room, this method offers individuals the opportunity to ask questions and implement the skills they've learned while the instructor is in the room with them, maximizing their ability to master the techniques.

Presenters include business coach and author, Leah Henderson, media specialist Dail Frye and niche strategist Todd Wilson. Workshop topics will help steer SEO strategies, navigate online presence, turbo-charge business marketing, craft high-performance opportunities to claim and optimize local business listings and take business skills from "zero to 60" in a single afternoon.
