Cheryl Taylor Makes Special Occasion Dreams Come True
Cheryl Taylor of Taylor Clarke Bridals talks how she came to be in Roswell and what makes her business special.
What is your business and how long have you been doing it?
I design couture, one of a kind wedding gowns at with my business partner, Laurie Clarke. . I have been designing wedding gowns for 25 years here and in the U.K. My gowns have been worn in all the very best places including, Buckingham Palace, the White House, prestigious hotels such as the Dorchester, Stately Homes, beaches and everywhere in between. At our salon, we have sample dresses and accessories to try on, including garters, bags, veils and headdresses.

At Taylor Clarke Bridals we really get to know our brides, in the beginning we collaborate to design the perfect wedding dress, taking into account their budget, the wedding location and their personal style. Our brides are able to select from a vast array of fabrics, laces, trims and embellishments including veils, headpieces, bags and garters. We hand make all our gowns and accessories here in Roswell. We know our brides really enjoy having a dress made by Taylor Clarke Bridals because they come back after their wedding and tell us how much they miss us. We love working with brides to be, it's such a rewarding experience being a part of a bride's special day.
People ask us who is a typical Taylor Clarke client? I think it is a bride-to-be who wants to share in the design process, knows that they will be empowered by their gown, because they helped shape it and participated in it its evolution.

How did you end up in Roswell area?
I moved to Roswell from the U.K. 15 plus years ago, my family came to the Roswell area and fell in love with it. We love the downtown district, the history, and all the wonderful amenities here.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I don't have much free time, but I do think it is important to share time with my family and friends. If I am on holiday, I love to paint seascapes and also relax with a good book.
How do you stay connected to the community?
I stay connected to the community through networking groups, I plan to join the Chamber of Commerce.
