Estella's Boutique and Closet: A Hollywood Touch In The Suburbs

A two-arm business join hands with "The Lost Ones" Foundation.

If Olive Olivia, Elizabeth W and Ellison brands are music to your ears, then consider Estella's Boutique and Estella’s Closet your concert hall.

Nestled among the historic buildings of Canton Street in downtown Roswell, Estella's Boutique and Closet are named after the grandmother of owner Tameka Raymond. The stylish stores - occupying space in two quaint homes directly across the street from one another - are self-described as “elegant, contemporary and full of high-end designers." While Estella’s Closet focuses on dressing you, Estella’s Boutique is aimed toward dressing your home.

Boutique manager, Angela Baltimore, believes most Roswell residents have been missing out on what’s behind their doors.

“Estella’s Boutique is a natural extension of Estella’s Closet,” she says. “Tameka Raymond wanted to create a cozy atmosphere full of exclusive great finds outside the city."

Estella’s Closet carries both men’s and women’s clothing, but the most interesting part of the clothes in the store is from whence they came. Raechel Taylor, Raymond’s business consultant, says that the Closet serves an accessible and eclectic style guide, thanks to Raymond’s past as a Hollywood stylist.

“Just call us Hollywood on Canton Street,” Taylor says. “Many of the clothes in the store have actually been in music videos.”

She went on to say that Estella’s Boutique is a blend of “summer beach house meets Versailles.” Everything from candles to home furnishings and accents can be found inside the four walls. While creating your picture perfect home, full of serenity, is the main goal of Estella’s Boutique, the store has other interests, as well.

“Twenty percent of sales go to ‘The Lost Ones Foundation’, which is an organization that helps at-risk teenage girls,” Baltimore says.

Dressing you, your home and positively affecting the women of tomorrow are just a few of the things Estella’s strives to do during business hours. Both Estella’s Closet and Boutique are open Monday - Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and are closed on Sunday. For more information, visit them online or in person at 1159 Canton Street.
