Goodwill Hiring Event This Week in North Fulton

Goodwill of North Georgia is holding a Goodwill Hiring Event this week, beginning today, in Alpharetta. The event is seeking to fill 40 positions for its its new Forsyth County location set to open next month.

According to a press release, those interested should apply in person March 19, 20 and 21 (9 a.m.-2 p.m. each day) at the , located at 4025 Windward Plaza in Alpharetta.

Candidates must be at least 18, have valid identification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.  "Interview attire is strongly recommended," according to the press release.

The new store, which will be located at 375 McFarland Parkway, is scheduled to open April 19. It will include a store and donation center.

“Our mission is to put people to work. We do this through a variety of job training programs and employment services. We use the sale of donated goods to fund those activities,” said Goodwill’s Director of Public Relations Elaine Armstrong.
