In Your Business - Luba Helps Residents Get Their 'Fill' in Roswell

"In Your Business" is a series on Roswell's entrepreneurs and business owners. This week we'll get to know Luba Bilentschuk, owner of Cartridge World Roswell.

What is your business and how long have you been doing it?

In 2004 I read an article in the Wall Street Journal about the Cartridge World franchise.  In 2005 Cartridge World Roswell, a locally owned and operated franchise began to serve our community. Six years later [our] Cartridge World Roswell Team provides exceptional customer service and high quality printer cartridges to over 5,000 customers.

What makes you good at what you do?

Passion of mind and heart is what drives me as an entrepreneur. The passion is exemplified by the connection we have with our customers.  They know Cartridge World Roswell is their “mom and pop” shop where their best interest is a priority.

Do you think Roswell has good opportunities for female business owners?

I am the daughter of Ukrainian immigrants who entered the U.S. after World War II and I’m proud to be a U.S. citizen and Roswell resident.  As a single mother, I believe the city of Roswell offers women entrepreneurs the opportunity to expand horizons. Roswell is a city with the “small town” touch.  If you choose to be involved there are many avenues to connect with your neighbors and community leaders.

What do you enjoy doing with your free time?

Living and working in Roswell allows me the opportunity to keep my commute less than 5 miles. When our schedules permit, my first priority is visiting with my daughter, Sonia, 29, and son, Adam, 24.  Yoga, exercise, Latin and Swing dancing, jazz music, reading and hopefully more travel time in the future.

How do you stay connected to the community?

Interacting with our customers every day, attending business network meetings offered by the city of Roswell, Roswell Kiwanis and Roswell Rotary Club.

How can people find you?

If you need free printer advice, or a toner or printer cartridge rebuilt or refilled, stop by Cartridge World Roswell located at 10713 Alpharetta Highway (770-594-1991) located in the Brannon Square Plaza. lubab@cartridgeworldroswell.com  www.cartridgeworldusa.com/store208
