Nature Center Hosts Holiday Market this Weekend

Visit Chattahoochee Nature Center for free Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Support the local economy, green initiatives and local artisans this holiday season during the Chattahoochee Nature Center's Back to Nature Holiday Market on Saturday.

The market means residents can avoid crowded shopping malls and still find unique gifts. Check out over three dozen local vendors, including:

  • A Reflection of Mind will showcase their glass fusion plates, coasters, earrings and pendants.
  • B&B Premium Imports handmade kid & adult items-knit finger puppets, cotton backpacks/purses, knit hats, purses, scarves, slippers; crochet leather ponchos, shigra bags, tagua nut jewelry, wooden and marble figurines.
  • Bee Maiden Creations hand poured, 100 percent Georgia beeswax ornaments and candles. Ornaments are an old world tradition brought over from Germany. Beeswax candles emit a strong golden light with a subtle honey scent, are allergen free and a natural, renewable resource.

Grab some food from local restaurateurs including, Douceur de France, in the Plaza Conference Room. The CNC horticulture department will have beautiful fresh green dΓ©cor for sale.Β
