North Fulton CID Wants to Improve Traffic, Intrastructure

Local residents can offer their thoughts and suggestions at a public meeting Dec. 2.

What transportation projects do you think need attention from the North Fulton Community Improvement District (CID), which stretches along commercial property on both sides of GA 400 through Alpharetta and parts of Milton and Roswell?

The North Fulton CID – the owners of the commercial property that make up the district – gets all of its funding from those property owners. Homeowners and business owners outside of the district don't pay any of this self-imposed tax. But they still want to hear from local residents and other business owners on Dec. 2 just what they think of a new master plan that is being created.

The master plan will outline infrastructure projects that the North Fulton CID will prioritize over the next 10 years as it seeks to improve transportation throughout its service district. The plan also forecasts changes in land use and local and regional commercial markets to anticipate changing traffic levels, demands and patterns in the area.

About the North Fulton CID

The North Fulton CID is a self-taxing district that spans from Mansell Road north to McGinnis Ferry Road. A voluntary tax, paid by commercial property owners within the District’s boundaries, funds the CIDs efforts to improve the area. The cities of Alpharetta, Milton and Roswell fall within the CID’s boundaries, and all three cities partner with the CID on projects, planning and initiatives.
