North Fulton Hospital Opens New Labor and Delivery Entrance

Expecting mothers now have a more convenient entrance to use.

Construction was recently completed on a new Labor and Delivery entrance at North Fulton Hospital. This entrance allows laboring mothers to be dropped off and walk right into the Labor and Delivery unit.

“The addition of a back entrance provides expectant mothers with an added level of comfort and convenience,” says Deborah Keel, CEO of North Fulton Hospital. “In the past, women coming to our hospital had to walk from the other side of the hospital campus to get to the women’s services.  With this new entrance, they are able to conveniently park and walk into the unit within a few short steps.”

The new entrance is one of several ways in which North Fulton Hospital is working to provide personalized, quality care to its patients. The 9 Month Network program supports expecting mothers through its pregnancy e-newsletter, an on-call mom to answer questions and the indulge mom packages available to women delivering at North Fulton Hospital.
