North Fulton Hospital Wins Beacon Award

Critical care unit recognized for patient care and healthy work environment.

North Fulton Hospital's Critical Care Unit has won an award for working to achieve exceptional patient care and a healthy work environment. 

The American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) recently gave a silver-level Beacon Award for Excellence to the 62 nurses, hospital administration and staff involved in the unit.

The award recognizes unit caregivers who successfully improve patient outcomes and align practices with AACN’s Healthy Work Environment Standards.

“We are so proud to be one of the few Beacon units in Atlanta,” said Debbie Keel, North Fulton Hospital’s CEO, in a press release.  “Our nurses and staff strive to provide the very best care to every patient, and we are thrilled to be recognized with this honor.”
