What is your business and how long have you been doing it?

I own Open Door Business Workshop – affordable business training meetups and workshops, since 2009.

Our purpose is for established and emerging small business owners to reveal their secrets of success. In addition, we want to be a catalyst for change for business owners who see the need for improvement.

What makes you good at what you do?

Passion. I am passionate about quality. I am passionate about the service we provide. I am passionate about keeping clients. You can not hire or delegate passion – that was a lesson that I had to learn the hard way.

How did you end up in Roswell area?

Thru Open Door Business Workshop, we have blessed to meet and become a part of the local business community. Sharon Gorman of Gorman Chiropractic has been a saint in helping us in the workshop venue area. 

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? 

I am totally a family based person. The older I get, the more important this part of my life has become. We enjoy hiking, hobbies, movies, games and each others company as well as the grandchildren – we have two.

What new hobbies have you recently taken up?

Landscape Quilting as well as some basic sewing.

How do you stay connected to the community?

Mostly through meetups. Attending and helping when and where needed for events, large and small alike.
