Roswell Businesses Join Black Friday Sales

We've found a few stores running sales and, in some cases, special hours this holiday weekend and throughout the holiday shopping season.

• Monday - Saturday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  Sundays (until Christmas) 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
• Twenty percent will be added to gift certificates purchased on Friday only! There will also be a book signing by Roswell chef and author Judith McLaughlin from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Shoppers can also sample some of her wonderful recipes. On Saturday, there is a 15 percent discount on Local Small Business vendors including Heart Gems, Grace Creative Jewelry, Himalayan Trading Post and Paddywax.

• My Clayground is a paint-your-own-pottery, glass fusing and clay art studio. On Friday, from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., get 50 percent off Gift certificate purchases between $20 and $50. The limit is 2 per person. Gift certificates not valid with other promotions, classes or parties. On Saturday (Nov. 26), it will be 30 percent off all regular priced purchases, plus they will add 20 percent to your gift certificate purchase all day.

• Mojo Vinyl is an independent record store that buys and sells new and used vinyl records (rock, jazz and select country), sells new audiophile-quality turntables, art and miscellaneous cool stuff. Shoppers looking for a classic yet unqiue gift should take advantage of their "Back to Black Friday” sale. It will feature special release vinyl records by legendary bands such as The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and much more!

• GALERIE...boutique on Canton Street is the perfect shopping destination for men and women that are searching for unique holiday attire and gifts. They will be open for the after Thanksgiving shopper on Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m., with buy two get one free deals! (A few exclusions apply, see store for more info.)

• The Whole Foods store has "Hot Weekend" and Whole Body items on sale this weekend. But they're also holding Black Friday Happy Hour sales.  Here’s how it works: The store will promote them on social media only. But a customer will come to the store during the specified hours for each deal and receive a coupon at the front door. That coupon entitles them to the sale item. Once Harry's either 1) run out of coupons for that deal or 2) the window has closed we will stop that deal. But, they will honor the coupons if a customer is still shopping in the store and the deal has stopped.
