Schakolad Chocolate Factory Opens in Roswell
Andrea and Bill Werkheiser officially opened their new store on Feb. 10.
Chocolate lovers rejoice: there's a new candy store in town specializing in gourmet chocolate - and it's made in-house.
Andrea and Bill Werkheiser, owners of Schakolad Chocolate Factory in Roswell, cut the ribbon on their new store, Feb. 10. The Schakolad company breaks away from typical chain candy store practices, which often have candy and chocolate items shipped in from headquarters. Schakolad owners, like the Werkheisers, actually craft a fresh-to-order European style chocolate on-premises from a recipe passed down by the Schaked family.
The store is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. They are located at 885 Woodstock Road, Suite 200. For more information or special orders call 770-642-2400, or visit them online.
