Vidara Therapeutics Acquired by Horizon Pharma
The Roswell based company is know for its production of ACTIMMUNE.
A Roswell-based company has been acquired in a multi-million dollar deal.
Vidara Therapeutics International announced on Wednesday they'd entered into an agreement to be acquired by Horizon Pharma Inc. The deal is valued at roughly $660 million, according to a press release from Horizon.
The combined company will be called Horizon Pharma PLC.
Vidara, located on Holcomb Woods Parkway, is known for its production of ACTIMMUNE, a manufactured protein that's been approved to slow frequency and severity of infections associated with Chronic Granulomatous Disease and delay the progression of severe, malignant osteoporosis in patients.
