about trends in app development at the free “Future of App Development” meetup
scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 in north Atlanta.

The event
will begin at 6 p.m. at the Sheraton Atlanta Perimeter North Hotel at 800
Hammond Drive, Atlanta, Ga. 30328.

At the
event, technology and app developers will get to explore new approaches to high-performance single page apps
(SPA) with Sencha Ext JS and REST API with insights and information from industry
experts. Attendees will also have opportunities to network and share ideas
among peers.

eVestment, the global institutional investment analytics and data company, will
share experiences overhauling the company’s SaaS platform to meet the new
business expectations for beautiful and high-performance web and mobile
solutions.

Art Kay from
Sencha will highlight Sencha’s latest app development tools and
insights.

Key
discussion points at the event will include: design considerations, agile
implications, reusability, maintenance, productivity impact, cross-browser and
device considerations, and Sencha Ext JS enabling technology.

The event
will start at 6 p.m. with light snacks. Presentations and discussion will start
at 6:30 p.m. and end around 7:30 p.m. and include a live code demonstration and
a Q & A period.  Guests are welcome
to stay following the presentation for additional networking.
