Dr Brent Herrin, a Pediatric Dentist Using Safe Sedation Dentistry, Joins the Group

One of the biggest fears for kids is the dentist office. Fears that may have grown through bad experiences or the unknown.

Sedation dentistry provides safe, comfortable dental treatment for children 2 and up.

We are proud that Dr. Brent Herrin joins our practice as a pediatric dentist at our Peachtree Corners, Roswell, Hickory Flat and Riverdale locations and practicing safe IV Sedation Dentistry for kids at the Roswell office.

Dr. Brent Herrin attended the University of Georgia from 2001-2005 where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.  After graduating with a degree in biology, Summa Cum Laude with Honors, he attended dental school from 2005-2009 at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in Augusta, Georgia. Upon graduation in 2009, he was selected as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.

From 2009 to 2011, Brent attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas and received a certificate in pediatric dentistry in June 2011. At Baylor, Dr. Herrin trained at multiple clinical sites including Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, Children’s Medical Center, and Baylor School of Dentistry.

His professional affiliations include the Georgia Dental Association, the Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and Paul P. Taylor Alumni Association. Dr. Herrin also served on the council for dental health for the Georgia Dental Association. He is a board certified pediatric dentist and diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Herrin’s hobbies include spending time with family and friends, UGA football, cooking, running, and other outdoor activities.
