Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta Hires New Sales Advisor: Susan Johnston

Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta is excited to announce its new sales advisor. With nearly four years of real estate experience and over 20 years in banking, Susan Johnston is responsible for handling both buyers and sellers on the brokerage side of the business.

“Susan’s extensive background in banking has provided her with excellent customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail,” said Shirley Gary, owner of Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta. “That skill set has already made her an excellent addition to the growing team at our Buckhead shop, which will open this fall.”

Previously, Johnston started her real estate career in 2011 right as the housing market hit rock-bottom. Despite the harsh economic environment, she thrived, successfully helping many renters, sellers and buyers to attain their housing objectives. She went on to become the 2012 Rookie of the Year at Keller Williams Realty’s largest southeastern office and earned a spot as a top producer in 2013.

Johnston is excited to work for Engel & Völkers because of its high standards for customer service and because of the seemingly endless possibilities for growth and expansion in the Atlanta market. “With all the national and international corporate headquarters located in Atlanta, an international luxury brand like Engel & Völkers makes sense,” she explained. “And my career-long experience as a customer service provider is a natural fit for a company that sets itself apart with the highest level of service available.”

It is Engel & Völkers’ fire-tested expertise and vast knowledge of the real estate market that also made her want to work for the company. “It’s the service plus market knowledge that will set Engel & Völkers sales advisors apart from the rest,” she said. “They get to know their clients on a one-on-one basis and then match them with the perfect home based on knowledge of not just the price, but also of the features within each home, the community it’s in and other non-monetary criteria. I agree: luxury is in the minds of each beholder, not just in a price point.”

A member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors Multimillion Dollar Club, she also belongs to the National Association of Realtors.

For the last 20 years, she has lived in Roswell with her husband and three children and is an avid gardener.
